All the departments in the College of Intelligent Technology have passed the IEET international accreditation, and the diploma is accepted across the world and can be used in the application for an international professional certificate. The programs and courses with focus on practical skills, it collaborates with enterprises to establish smart learning factories of automation. Through interdisciplinary academic learning, practical curriculum, full-term intern, and special topics, it applies information technologies to the integration of mechanics and electronics, medicine and supporting tools, environmental protection, disaster prevention, and green technology, and strengthens students’ ability to combine interdisciplinary knowledge. Its graduates have become the technicians highly popular in the industry.

    HungKuang University has established beneficial partnership with 145 universities worldwide and recruited international students and trainees with various pursuits. The international student body is currently above 700. In addition to recruiting degree-seeking students, we offer customized skill-training programs to meet different professional and industrial needs, Solar-Power system, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle, pre-school education, vocational education, and artificial intelligence. While domestic students are encouraged to participate in various global mobility programs to enhance global visions and competiveness, students from our partner universities are welcome to fulfill academic requirement and experience the local customs of Taichung at HKU through dual- degree study, exchange programs, internships, and short-term training programs.

    From the academic year of 2001, the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering aims to cultivate talents of information technology application, internet and network, and embedded system.

    From the academic year of 2008, the Department of Biomedical Engineering combines such subjects as biology, medicine and engineering and trains students specializing in biomedical electronics and information, bio-mechanics and supporting technology, and smart automation.
